I’ve been through some of the most challenging times—grieving my mum, navigating a difficult decline in my health, and feeling like I was losing parts of myself along the way.
When my health took a turn, I knew I needed something different—something I could do on my terms. I needed work that allowed me to show up when I felt strong and rest when I didn’t. I didn’t want to compromise my health or feel tied to a schedule that didn’t fit my life.
That’s when I started this journey. I retrained as a makeup artist and educator—something I never imagined I’d do in my 40s—and built a retail makeup and skincare business from home. And while I’d already started this before losing Mum, I can honestly say it became my lifeline.
This business has given me more than I can put into words. I’ve found joy again. I’ve made connections I didn’t know I needed, and I’ve even had fun—which I didn’t realise could be part of work. It’s not serious or complicated. It’s rooted in positivity and sharing products I genuinely love—products that are cruelty-free, vegan, and infused with skincare benefits.
Is it perfect? No. Anything worth having takes time and effort to build. But it works because I get to shape it around my life, my needs, and my energy.
And I love that I get to share this with other women—women like me who are looking for something that feels good and aligned, something that fits their life too.
So, if you’re feeling like you need something different, something with flexibility and a sense of joy, let’s chat. I’m here to share what I’ve learned, support you, and help you explore if this could be a fit for you too.
Because this isn’t just about work—it’s about creating something that feels right for you.

I’m a makeup artist and educator, and I sell SeneGence—a range of high-quality, long-wearing, cruelty-free makeup and skincare. I’ve been on this journey for 2.5 years, and it’s been such a lifeline for me, both personally and professionally.
Before this, I ran my own café for nearly 10 years. I know firsthand how tough it is to run a conventional business—the long hours, the overheads, and the constant juggling to make it work in this day and age. I’ve also worked as a journalist for Fairfax Media and in public relations, so telling stories and connecting with people has always been a part of who I am.
What I love about what I do now is the simplicity and flexibility. I get to teach women how to feel more confident with makeup, share products I genuinely love, and run my business in a way that works for me. It’s not always easy, but it’s worlds apart from the pressures of traditional business, and it’s been such a positive, empowering shift for me.

Yeah, I totally thought that, too. I don't want random people messaging me (and I don't want to be one of those people either) about buying their incredible unicorn tears. We've all had it happen to us and yes, I basically thought the whole industry was shit. Until I started following this lady on Facecook. She did the best makeup tutorials. I loved watching her and the vibe she brought to the internet. She sold Senergence - and after two years of following her (yes, I am a very hard person to convince once I have an opinion about something) ... I brought her make-up. And I fell in love. I had heard her talk about signing up and how Senergence is completely opposed to any kind of pressure (I'll discuss further below) ... I decided (another two years later ... hahaha) to sign up. I wanted to do what she was doing and earn money playing with makeup. I have since learnt how fantastic this industry can be. But yes, there is some in the industry that teach pushy sales techniques that sadly tarnishes the whole industry. If you know, you know, right?

Honestly, I don’t “sell” in the way you might think. I’m all about sharing what I genuinely love in a way that feels authentic and helpful—it’s called attraction marketing, and it’s my jam.
I show up as me. Whether it’s online, where I paint my face, share tutorials, and demonstrate techniques you’ve told me you want to learn, or in person, where I offer hands-on makeup lessons. I’m all about adding value—teaching real women how to feel more confident in their own skin and making makeup less overwhelming.
But here’s the thing: this isn’t about doing it my way—it’s about finding your way. Maybe you want to share makeup at local markets, host fun get-togethers, do private makeup lessons, or just quietly share with your friends and family. My superpower? Helping you find the confidence to make this business your own. There’s no one-size-fits-all here—what matters is that it feels right for you.
It’s kind of like this: If I discover a new Uber hack, or I find an amazing product to dye my hair, I share it. No pressure, no hard sell—just sharing what works for me because I know it might help someone else. It’s the same with what I do here.
When people come for a makeover or a lesson, they get some pampering, some laughs, and some genuinely useful education about makeup and skincare. And you know what happens? People fall in love with the products I use because they’re that good. I don’t need to push. They try it, they love it, and they want it for themselves.
It’s real, it’s honest, and it works—without ever being pushy or annoying.

I get it. This industry has a reputation, and it’s one that can leave a bad taste in your mouth. It’s often misunderstood, and the term pyramid scheme gets thrown around when it doesn’t belong.
But here’s the truth: SeneGence is a retail company. Simple. I buy products at wholesale price, and I sell them at retail price—just like any other retail business. There’s no funny business, no smoke and mirrors.
A pyramid scheme is where people pay money and get nothing of value in return—no products, no service—and it’s highly illegal. That’s not what this is at all. This is real, tangible retail, and the products are fantastic.
When you sign up with SeneGence (I’ll be your “sponsor”), you’re doing it for one of two reasons: either to become a retailer, selling products you love, or to purchase them at a wholesale price for yourself. That’s it.
I think it’s important to talk about this upfront because it gives us a chance to change the conversation and challenge the stigma. The truth is, this model works when it’s done well and ethically—and that’s exactly how I choose to do it.

This is a question I hear all the time, and I totally get it – it’s what we’ve been conditioned to think about this kind of business. But let’s break it down.
Let’s look at a typical business structure.
Imagine a big retail store:You’ve got the people on the floor – serving customers, collecting trolleys, stocking shelves, managing the admin. This is the largest part of the workforce.
Then there are team leaders, supervisors, and managers.
Next, you’ve got store managers and area managers.
And finally, corporate staff and the CEO.
If you drew it out, it would look like a triangle (🔺), right? The majority of the people are at the bottom, doing the hard slog. And as you climb higher up, there are fewer positions – but they’re paid the most. That’s the way we’ve accepted employment structures for decades.
Here’s what’s different when you sign up under me:
Just because I’m the one who signed you up doesn’t mean you can’t earn more than me. In fact, you absolutely can! You can outwork me, outshine me, and earn more than me if that’s what you want. And it happens all the time – there are so many examples of people earning well beyond the person who introduced them to the business.
Why? Because your success is based on your goals, your effort, and your way of doing things. You don’t have to wait for a pay rise or be stuck in a system that dictates your worth.
For me, that’s what makes this business so powerful. In conventional employment, you’re told what to do, when to work, and how much you’ll earn. Your income is capped, and your growth depends on someone else deciding your value.
That doesn’t work for me. I’ve lived it. I’ve done the slog of running a conventional business for 10 years. I’ve worked the long hours, made the sacrifices, and dealt with all the overheads and stress.
Now? I get to work in a way that suits my life and my goals. I set my own pace, I reap what I sow, and I have the freedom to build something that feels mine.
And if you’re willing to put in the work and discover your way of doing it? The possibilities are limitless.

There are so many different reasons why women decide to sign up with SeneGence, and every path is completely valid. Some love the idea of building their own makeup and skincare business, while others simply want to enjoy the products at a great discount (we call this being a “personal shopper”). If that’s where you start, that’s absolutely fine – I’ve seen personal shoppers go on to become some of the most successful, passionate sellers because they fell in love with the products and naturally shared them with others.
For others, it’s about creating something more. Maybe you want to build a little side hustle to pay for a family holiday, ease some financial pressure, or treat yourself to things that used to feel out of reach. Or maybe, like me, you’re looking for something that’s yours – a way to show up, make a difference, and build something meaningful in a way that works for you.
What I love most is that there’s no single path to success here – I’m all about helping women find their way of doing this. Whether it’s through makeup classes, online tutorials, markets, or quiet one-on-one connections, you can create a business that reflects who you are.
At the end of the day, it’s about finding joy in what you’re doing and being excited about where it can take you. If this sparks something in you, or you’re even just curious, I’d love to chat more about what this could look like for you.

As a distributor, you can order products at a 20-50% discount. If you sell $2000 in a month, you get to keep $1000. That's a massive margin!
-
Nope, there are no mandatory monthly orders – you only order if and when you want to.
But, I’ll be honest – to really make the most of your account and unlock the best possible discounts, a 300 PV order is where it’s at. That’s where the magic happens.
A 300 PV order gets you over $900 worth of products for under $500, thanks to the 50% wholesale discount (in your first 90 days - after that a 300pv order gets you a 40% discount - so don’t sign up til you’re ready to order).
It’s the absolute sweet spot! Plus, if you push just a little more, you can even hit the free shipping threshold – and who doesn’t love free shipping?
By the time you add your entire wishlist to your cart, you’re pretty much there! Trust me, it happens quicker than you think. Once you’ve got all the products you love and use yourself, it’s so much easier to share them with others – naturally, authentically, and in a way that feels right for you.
It can sound a little overwhelming at first, but I promise it’s easier than you think. I teach my team step-by-step how to reach that goal, whether you’re ordering for yourself, selling to friends and family, or stepping into something bigger.
No dodgy pressure – just support, encouragement, and all the tools you need to make it work your way.
-
No worries! Your distributor account will simply expire after 12 months. No autoships, no contracts, no hassle.
-
Building a team is optional. You can focus solely on your own sales if that's your preference.
-
Honestly, it’s your call! There are so many ways to share these products, and the beauty of it is finding the way that works for you.
Some people love hosting in-person demos – think casual makeup classes, market stalls, or pamper sessions with friends. Others thrive on social media, sharing makeup looks, tips, and tutorials online. Maybe you’ve got connections with local boutiques, salons, or small shops that could stock the products.
For me, it’s all about helping you discover your way. I love guiding my team to find a style of selling that feels natural and aligned with who they are. Whether you’re someone who loves chatting with people one-on-one, showing up online with confidence, or creating your own unique path, there’s no “one size fits all” approach here.
The best part? You don’t have to be a sales expert. It’s about sharing what you love, adding value for others, and building genuine connections. I’ll help you with ideas, tools, and confidence to figure out what works for you – because when you feel good about what you’re doing, the magic happens naturally.
